Welcome to Luxury Detours: Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Planner

Luxury Detours is a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings and honeymoons, because these occasions aren't just trips, they are THE trips. These experiences are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that you will look back on either fondly with beautiful memories, or regrets that you wish you'd done things differently. My goal is to work with amazing couples with big dreams and help them navigate what could be a stressful process so they can feel comfortable laying the stressful parts on my shoulders and instead focus on the memories they are creating with their family, friends, and spouse-to-be.

If you're considering planning a destination wedding & honeymoon, there are so many things to consider. Maybe you're no stranger to booking vacations, but this is probably your first time planning a wedding. When coordinating a large group of people there are always going to be issues popping up, and these problems are the last thing you want to be dealing with on your big day. Luckily, that's where I come in!

What it's like to work with me

First, we will have a 30-minute Discovery Meeting. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I want to dig in to who you are and what makes you unique individually and what makes you so special as a couple. Then we will discuss all of the hopes and dreams for your wedding that you've been thinking about since you were young, and how we can work together to make your wedding live up to that vision.

After our call if we decide that we are a good fit to work together, I will go to the drawing board and start to come up with a selection of properties that match your fiancé's and your unique criteria. I'm not interested in selling any particular brand or property. My goal is to play matchmaker for you and help find your perfect fit. Once a decision is made, I will work all the behind-the-scenes magic, taking care of all the "boring stuff" and making it happen. We can then begin our second journey together, where we go through a similar process to plan your honeymoon!
